In hockey, there have been problems of bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination (BAHD) for decades. In 2004 Wayne McNeil and Sheldon Kennedy co-founded Respect Group, an organization dedicated to addressing, what they call, BAHD behaviors. The organization helps solve BAHD behaviors through a vital tool: education.
